Painted meditations for Holy Week 2025.
I love how well this subject expresses the spirit of early spring. This is my second start, after realizing I prefer this angle of it, and the first try is posted for comparison: "Path out of Winter" 24 x 36 oil painting - in progress.

This plein air painting took several September/Octobers to complete, and in that time my fondness for it only grew, getting to watch the peaceful change from one season to another, and how it holds a little of both for quite some time: "Summer's Ending Sparkles" 26 x 40 oil painting.
