I have now had 3 seasons on this backyard plein air painting, and even though it shows slightly slow-going, it's just too fun to paint with it in person not to do it this way. I've been learning a lot about the blossom colorations while painting them, and in this last season which was shortened by rain, I reworked a few that were done with my "introductory" awareness.

The easel is pulled in a little tight because I'm "blossom shopping," looking for flowers and parts that can model for what has already been done ... I will look forward to see what the bush will offer next May and hope for better luck with the weather : >)
