Here is my mostly September plein air painting in progress. While I really want to paint the water, practicality has forced me to work on the upper and lower center this year. The middle ground trees are being undercut by the stream, and their chances of falling into the water are increasing, and so the time became "now" to paint them from life. The enlargements below are a before and after of the upper section, and I'll update again before long.
