Welcome to painted meditations for Holy Week of 2024
The theme for this year is “trees,” and I was especially drawn to the Holy Thursday image of the path uphill because of the meaningful walk that Jesus takes his Disciples on after their shared Passover meal. It’s a small detail I’ve so fallen in love with that I couldn’t resist sharing some of my joy about it with this image. We are taught that nothing is small in the eyes of God, and so many of the details within this week carry such tremendous meaning. He really does know what He is doing, with each and every step of the way.
