It was another good season on this September - October piece. The upper right forest is unfinished, and the water is asking me for some refinements, and more looks at it in September are what's needed. This has all gotten me more familiar with this time of year, who exactly turns first and which leaves fall first. And that is the subject of this painting, that first turning, and the flavors of all the colors at that time of year. |
