This mostly November morning plein air painting is about the period where the understory leaves turn and start to thin. They bring along many unexpected colors, and it is a lot of fun to paint along with them. After enough of them fall though, the quality of light and those colors all around the fallen tree change a little too much to continue. It gives me something to look forward to about this cool part of the year. |
