Ahhh ... bright March sun and moving water, and this last season I repainted the center section of the water, as well as developing the big rock further. It's in an awkward phase here, as the lower water is the scraped ghost version of the past, which I'll look forward to getting to next March.

In case it's not obvious, it's difficult each year for me to stop working on this piece because I love it so much. Here's my last session in late April, and as you can see things are looking very "not March" by then. The shade and the green were closing in by the hour ... such bittersweet parting, dear painting spot. See you next year : >)
