The windows for working on this piece for the day and the year are both a little short. It's after the leaves have mostly fallen, and before the arc of the sun gets so low it fades behind the distant trees. It sure is wonderful while it lasts though, and I appreciate trying to paint this spot of brightness in the dim part of the year.
