| July - Plein Air Easton
Robert and fifty four other juried artists will paint in and around both Talbot County and within the town of Easton, Maryland from July 19 - 23. Each artist will frame and hang two pieces, for a show of one hundred and ten paintings completed during the four and a half days. The exhibition will take place at the Academy Art Museum in downtown Easton, beginning with an awards reception Friday evening, July 23. August - Marine paintings at Peter McPhee Robert will be showing a collection of Mostly Marine paintings at Peter McPhee Fine Arts this summer. The show will hang from August 7 to September 1, and an opening reception is planned for Saturday, August 7, from 7 to 10pm. | September - "Painting in Town" Workshop
Robert will be offering a 3-day workshop September 10-12 at the Easton Studio & School. The focus of the workshop will be Robert's methods for painting in any town setting, and he will demonstrate his approach to working on one painting over multiple days, as well as thoroughly explain the meaning of his urban mantra: "Remember, you're painting!"
